Shingles

POOR DENNIS. He has broken out in Shingles. He started last week with some VERY tender skin, then Friday some VERY SORE red spots that eventually broke out in cold sore-like pustules. So we took him in yesterday morning. They gave him an anti-viral and pain meds and told him it would take up to two weeks for the sores to dry up and that the nerve endings may stay tender longer. He is able to sleep when he takes his pain meds, but not well. POOR DENNIS. Too many irons in the fire. He's not excited to have me take any pix, so you'll have to go online to see what Shingles looks like. :)
