Dennis
Dennis was born and raised on a huge farm in Rupert, ID. He learned early to feed and raise cows, cultivate, water, and work and play hard. His family is wonderful and supportive in every way possible. I couldn't have hand picked a better family-in-law.
Dennis is the most well rounded person I know. He has learned and excelled at so many things. He isn't afraid to try something new and adapts well to change. He has taught office systems and computer classes at the Uintah Basin Campus of USU for 20 years or so. He's worked hard to get all the classwork done on a doctorate degree and is ready for the dissertation - as soon as he and his committee agree on what he will research and write about.
Right now, at church, he is serving as the High Priest Group Leader. He also plays the organ at church and in the temple. His memory of the scriptures amazes me. I'm so glad for his willingness to serve and his good work ethic. I love that he loves music and shares all his talents. Lately he has developed some fun hobbies of photography, golf, and keeping up with American Idol and the dancing shows.
Amelia
I've just had another birthday. I always figured that by the time I was 1/2 century old, I'd have life figured out and my life would be perfect. Hmm. Didn't happen. However, life is grand even with the various challenges.
I'm from Roosevelt, UT; born and raised there. I moved away for a few years but moved back in my 20s and have loved living there. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and am devoted to my faith. I get to lead the choir and the Primary music. I have a wonderful husband who is my best friend and sweetheart. I have six siblings and six children. My father and step mother, who are both 94 years old, are still alive and I've become part of the sandwich generation as I help care for them. I have worked at Union High School for 10 years in Special Education with amazing students who have affected my life.
