technology

I've loved taking classes to learn and update my technology skills. I now have a webpage at through the Duchesne County School District. You can go into Union High School and check my webpage at http://my.uen.org/myuen/65231 or go in through the Duchesne County School District home web site. I also have created a webpage on the great World Wide Web at http://amelia.garner.googlepages.com/ameliagarner%27swebsite (it will always be under construction, so be patient and check it often for updates). I've also created this new blog. I've created a tour of all the UT counties in Google Earth and will be creating a tour of the Cities of Peace today in Google Earth.

Why I'm a teacher.

I have always wanted to be a stay-at-home mother. Jobs that I did from home to help with the finances were always ongoing. When I became pregnant with my fifth child, I had a great realization that my children and I would never survive on what I could earn if something happened to Dennis. Trying to determine which direction to go into was difficult. I decided to go into teaching because of the non-work hours that I could be with my children. So I went back to school, earned my degree and went into teaching. I have enjoyed being at the same school with my children and knowing their activities, grades, and friends. My students have made an impact in my life that will forever change me.

Hawaii

Our favorite vacations have
been in Hawaii
where Dennis
spent his mission.
